I have taken the date of Hugh and Agnes's marriage from the scotlandspeople indexes and Samina's birth cert. This is different than the date on Margaret's birth cert.

Hugh, Agnes and their son, William are all on the 1901 census living in Senwick Park

Note on Husband: Hugh JAMIESON (1)

Appears on the 1841 census age 12 working in Parton, on the 1851 census age 22 at Cruchie, Parton and on the 1861 cenus for Kirkcudbright (age 32).

both 1851 and 1861 censuses give his birth place as Dalry, Kirkcudbrightshire.

Hugh's year of birth is calculated from his age (72) on his death certificate.

It can not be proved that Michael and Mary Jamieson are definitely the parents of Hugh Jamieson. However since all the other Jamieson children in the 1851 census born in Dalry are children of Michael and Mary, It seems reasonable to assume that Hugh is also one of their children.

A DNA match has been found on ancestry.co.uk which supports the theory that Michael Jamieon and Mary Duff were the parents of Hugh Jamieson.
