The Hanwith-Horden family are of interest because the two brothers Charles and John married two of the Pierce sisters, Alice and Mildred. The marriages in Dhurrumtollah, Calcutta were found on the familysearch website with sufficient detail to identify the families. It would seem that John died before 1912 when his widow, Mildred, remarried. The knowledge that Charles and Alice moved on from India to Zimbabwe and the possibilty that Charles was born in Australia came from a Hanwith-Horden family researcher.
