There are several references within this book to Shedden familes from the parish of Beith, Ayrshire.
DNA matches discovered by ancestry.co.uk suggest that these families from Beith may be relevant to my researches into the origns of the family of Alexander Hall Shedden from Trivandrum, Southern India.
