I found an Army Attestation record dated 27 November 1908 for Frederick this includes names of next of kin which support the information I found elsewhere.

Frederick's date of birth from familysearch is 4 Jun 1892 but his age as given on the Attestation Record is 18 years which would mean he was born in 1890. It is possible that Frederick was only 16 when he enlisted.

Frederick served in the 2nd Battalion Dorset Regiment between 27 Nov 1908 and 15 May 1914.
