James Farrell was a Coporal in the Madras Squadron of Horse Artillery of the HEIC Army. He married Mary Scott in
Madras in 1804 and they had a daughter, Jane, who married William Graham. James was born in Ireland and
went to India in 1803 at the age of 19 on the ship "Calcutta", he died in India in 1812.
